Is AI really going to take over our jobs? What is our value if AI can do all the work? These are real questions that we address in this week's sermon! We have to remember that our value is not wrapped up in our production, but in the Prince of Peace! We are unlike any other thing created and we are the pinnacle of creation all because we are created in God's image! Beyond that, God has uniquely and personally gifted each of us and then commissioned us for his kingdom! Know your value and use it for God's Kingdom! AI cannot take that away!
The big question we are answering tonight - What is my Value if AI is going to replace all the things I do?
1. What’s something you feel you have to be good at for people to value you? How do you view yourself when you struggle or fail at it?
2. Read Genesis 1:26–28 and Psalm 139:13–16. What makes you valuable according to these passages? How is that different from how people at school measure someone’s worth?
3. If AI could do everything you’re good at better than you, what would still make you valuable? What does your answer reveal about where you find your worth?
4. Read 1 Corinthians 12:4–11. How would you use your gifts differently if your goal were to help others instead of prove yourself? What might that look like at school or church?
5. Read Ephesians 2:10. If AI could handle your homework, chores, and future job, what would God still be calling you to do? Name one way you can live out that purpose this week.
